Pricing Who sets the pricing - some prices are quite different for similar uses? Each photographer sets his own prices and licensing conditions, Some license calculators will be more complicated than others, some will be Royalty Free others not, and pricing will vary between photographers. We are a portal presenting work and do not influence pricing or licensing. Pricing would be like approaching the photographers directly - they will vary and each photographer will work differently. We are a magazine and have a fixed rate card for all our photography we publish. We don't negotiate or work to photographers personal pricing, so how does that work with One Stop Images? One Stop Images have a press over ride for image editors who state when they register they work with the press and to a rate card. Pricing and license calculators are removed and the ordering removes the credit card gateway making the ordering a manual process to unknown or new logins, however we can make the download automatic for the press who make regular orders from our photographers. Can we have accounts with One Stop Images for regular purchases of images like we do with agencies and get automaic downloading? Yes, once we have verified who you are we can organize opening an account and payment terms for regular purchases. Contact One Stop Images at any time to organize these terms. What happens if the price and license calculator does not fit or cater for our requirements? Can we negotiate special rates for large or special requests? You can contact One Stop Images by email and either we will have the permission from the photographer to negotiate on their behalf or will pass the request immediately to the photographer to give us a price. We will ensure this is done as fast as possible. How much of a sale does a photographer get? The photographer has paid our sister company for hosting their images so they get 100% of the image license sale less a handling fee of $10 per image download and less the credit card processing fee of 4% which goes to our secure credit card gateway company as for all credit card sales. Image Quality Can we be sure the images we pay for and download are good quality? Yes our photographers are proven professionals, most supplying their images taken in the same way, in similar location on similar equipment to well know stock agencies. We have provided a zoom tool for logged on users to check image quality at 100% online. Are images model and property released? Yes they should be where appropriate and the photographer can be asked to supply a copy and a refund offered if he does not. One Stop Images understands this is an important issue and has made that very clear to the photographers presented here. What happens if we have an issue with image quality or a release? If the image is not published then One Stock Images will make an immediate refund and the photographer notified. If the image is published One Stop Images will take no responsibility for publishing without checking quality or releases beforehand and the matter will be passed to the photographer to deal with the image buyer directly and negotiate refunds or damage claims. One Stop Images is not the copy right holder to any images shown on this web site and takes no responsibity for copyright, quality, releases in any manner... we are only presenting the work of photographers and collecting fees on their belves to enusre the fastest download times possible. Other Are our contact details safe after we register? Do you pass on our details to anyone else? We keep all details private and do not pass them on to anyone else or use them for marketing purposes unless you ask to be contacted with info about One Stop Images when you sign up. Photographers will be passed details only and when you pruchase an image from them. What is your phone number? Can we call One Stop Images please? Sorry, we are not in a position to take phone calls at this point. Please email your request and phone number and if necessary we will call you back to help deal with the request as soon as possible. |
How One Stop Images works... 1. Finding an image Use the search box above with keywords to find an image. Thumbnails are presented and by selecting a thumbnail by clicking it a preview and image inof including who the photographer is. 2. Image Display The images are presented randomly with no bias towards any photographer or image. 3. Refine Search The search can be refined at the bottom of the page by enetering keywords not to show. 4. Zoom Image - to check quality If you are registered and logged on you may zoom on an image to 100% to see the quality of the image. Use the cursor to move the image to see the part of the image you need to examine. 5. Pricing an Image You may price an image on the photographers licensing terms by clicking the Get price button and following the menus. The portal converts the photographer's price and currency to US$ based on the days exchange rate and the art buyer can pay by credit card to download the image immediately. 6. Light boxes If you want to keep an image aside while you continue your search, images can be added to your light box. You can email a selection of images with comments to a clleague or collegues by using the email light box button... If you are logged on you can save the light boxes for later use. 7. Add to Cart Once an image is chosen for purchase it can be added to the cart where it will need to be priced. Several images can be added to the cart before check out. Sales tax is calculated where applicable and depending on your location. 8. Payment Payment by credit card through our credit card gateway will allow immediate download of the images in a zip file. You will be sent an email with confirmation of the order, the use license for the image and a download link in your orders page will appear. The photographer is also emailed details of the order and the license purchased. 9. Download Upon download each image is separated in to the photographer folder and the license from the photgrapher attached. 10. Refunds If after download there is a problem with the image quality or you have requested a model or property release which is not supplied and the image is not published, One Stop Images will refund the credit card. However, if the image is published the sale stands and the buyer will need to negotiate directly with the photographer. At all times the rights of the copy right holder must respected. Press over ride We have a special login for press buyers working to a rate card. We undersatnd also the press often download images they never use. We do not present prices to press buyers who identify themselves when they register, but orders require a manual OK from One Stop Images for the download. The price from the rate card should be paid to One Stop Images upon publication and can be done by check or by credit card. Disclaimer One Stop Images reserves the right to remove any photographer from the portal at their descretion at any time which will remov etheir images from any saved light boxes or carts. One Stop Images will not be held responsible for any problems with image quality, content or model or property releases. The image buyer will be passed immediately to the photographer to resolve those issues. |
